“Junk in the Trunk” (of your car!)

First, I must let you know, as I also told my Facebook fans, I made the mistake of Googling “Junk in the Trunk”.  There are obviously different meaning for that term.  By the way, I really need to know how the filter out the sexually explicit images from Google Search.  Parents, if you haven’t already, I would strongly suggest you check into it.  I don’t have any young children now, so I am sure that I am WAY late on this one…. Moving right along!

The trunk of car or your car as a whole is no different than a room in your home or office, when it comes to organizing.  You need to know what is in your trunk and be able to put your hand on what you need quickly.  The process of sort, purge and organize still applies.

Clutter is clutter, no matter what part of your life it occupies.

BEFORE

Let’s take a look at a few trunk organizing tools…

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I am soooo grateful!

It is such a great honor when someone takes the time to recognize your work.  My friend, Rhonda over at  Help Me Rhonda” has nominated my little old blog for the Very Inspiring Blog Award.  She has a very creative way of stating the facts of life with a wee bit of humor.   I am very grateful to Rhonda again for the recognition.

It is getting tougher and tougher to come up with random things without telling all my business, as if I haven’t already.  I may not have “7”, but I will try…

1.  I can’t swim.  I went to this waterpark and because I didn’t want to be left out, I followed my husband on a ride for “strong swimmers”.  My husband went first and when he got to the bottom, he knew that there was no way that I would survive the terror, so we held up the whole line until I could get down.  😦

2.  I hate rollercoasters.  Really most rides, period.

3.  I can’t rollerskate.  I guess you are wondering what can she do??

3.  My mother in law lived with us for 14 years. You may let you mind wonder on that one…

4.  My favorite vacation spot is Bermuda.  I love the clear bluish purple water and the pink sand.

5.  I am studying for my Missionary’s license.  Order Your Steps is not just my business, but my ministry.

I can’t think of anything else, Sorry!

First, I want to apologize to Steve over at “Just Be Foundation“.  I probably shouldn’t have nominated his blog for the  A Lovely Blog Award, although I really enjoy his blog.  I obviously didn’t think that all the way through, so I would like to nominate him for “Very Inspiring Blog” Award instead.  Sorry Steve!!

Now I will nominate “7” bloggers for the award.

I am speechless….

Speechless, Not Quite!….  Believe or not, I have been nominated for yet another award.  My friend, Sarah has found a tad of “Loveliness” in my blog.  Please take a visit over to her blog, Truthlets & Thoughtbits.  She speaks on everyday life, but she gives you food for thought and sparks some interesting conversations.  I am very appreciative of the recognition.  Although, my initial motivation for doing a blog was rather personal & somewhat selfish, I am now truly overwhelmed at the response of my readers and I am extremely grateful!

Now I have to give you “7” random things about me…

1.  I modeled for my mom, who was a hairstylist when I was about 11-12 years old.  I was already almost 6′ tall.  My two favorite outfits were the “leather” vinyl dress and over the knee boots and my crushed velvet, hot pink, hot pants with white go-go boots.  Yeah, WOW!!

2.  I “dated” a 7’2″ guy in high school.  We went out on A “date” and my dad took me to one of his basketball games after high school.  He sent me a “Dear Johnnie” letter with some beautiful yellow roses, after he left for college.

3.  I wanted to skydive and drive a Corvette, when I was a lot younger.

4.  I wanted to drive a Ford Mustang when I got a lot older.

5.  I graduated from high school when I was 17 and graduated college at 52.

6.  No, I did not play basketball, nor any other sport.

7.  I was “Acting” Director of Admissions at 22… and no, it had nothing to do with the fact that I babysat the Dean’s kids, my first day on the job.

Now I will nominate 7 bloggers for the award.

O.M.G!!! (Special Post)

Now, before I say anything else….let me ‘plain!  I am the kinda person that is very active in movie theaters.  Remember, I am the one that loves cartoons, so I am the animated movie type.  So, needless to say, during action movies, I have a tendency to jump, hide my face when I think a bloody scene is coming and if necessary, grab the person’s arm beside me, which is why normally my husband will sit on one side and one of my daughters are on the other.  In addition, I tend to talk and or make unusual comments during the movie, i.e. , aaahhh, ooohhhhh!!  ….and I laugh out loud when the good guy triumphs over the bad guy.

However, for this movie, since EVERYONE said that I was going to misbehave, I was determined that I would do none, or very little of the activities identified above.  But I must tell you that it was extremely difficult to restrain myself…..

THE AVENGERS WAS AWESOME!!!!!!

Can anyone say “Rag Doll”?

You will have to see the movie,

to know what that means.

It’s HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Tammy, I would never have seen it if it hadn’t been for your rave reviews….
